The Bel Canto Chorus will perform their annual spring concert on May 2 & 3, 2024 at 7:30pm, St. Andrew’s Place in Sudbury, with Music Director Susan Urquhart and Collaborative Pianist Dr. Charlene Biggs. “Welcome Spring” celebrates the return of spring in songs such as “Canadian Railroad Trilogy”, “Rainy Day People” and “Early Morning Rain” by the legendary Canadian recording artist, Gordon Lightfoot. Special guest Keenan Comartin on guitar. Special appearance by Pamela Teed – soprano singing “Summertime” and clarinetist Brenda Arrowsmith. Tickets are $20 and are available at Messier’s Your Independent Grocer in the south end, Kuppajo Espresso Bar downtown, and Jett Landry Music in New Sudbury. A reception follows the concert.
